These are wonderful quotes and reflects truly the facts of life. Every time we give priority to something which we think will give us everlasting happiness and in the end we find every thing is a sham and a delusion. In the process we forget to enjoy our lives. I suppose most human beings are like this. Some want fame and fortune but these things never really make them happy in the end. There are cases of rich and famous people committing suicide. Such people also need something or the other and they end up disillusioned. Life is for living and not for dying.
I remember reading something like this-DON'T TAKE LIFE TOO SERIOUSLY, YOU WILL NOT GET OUT OF IT ALIVE.
Many thanks for reminding me about the importance of enjoying the present.
